LEMANS CLASSIC - 09 July 2012 - 11 July 2012

In 2002 LEMANS introduced a new event that gives a look into the historical racing of years gone past, this event is simply called the -     "  LEMANS CLASSIC "

And a Classic event it is, now in 2012 we shall see the 5th time the LEMANS CLASSIC has been staged at the home of the famous  " 24 Heures Du Mans" as it only happens every two years.

Vintage cars from all over the world come to the fabulous LEMANS circuit to sample the chance of racing on the 13.6km circuit. The only time they normally open the full circuit is for annual 24 Heures du Mans, so this is a great time to watch these classic cars  racing.

70/80000 spectators converge on LEMANS for this weekend, classic cars are not only on the circuit but also the public roads as the spectators arrive in their classic cars for the weekend.

Practice for this event starts on the Friday when cars competing get a chance of taking part in day and nightime practice, a chance to get used to this awesome circuit.

On Saturday morning the track is taken over by car clubs taking part in demonstration laps before the tradditional start time of 16.00 hours for the "CLASSIC"

The "CLASSIC" is not a 24 hour race, its made up of different ages & classes racing over a period of 24 hours, constant action including driver changes, non stop action.

Off track there are clubs, exibitions, automobilia stalls everwhere, a fantastic atmosphere not to be missed.

         (Please note we do not provide camping equipment)

You can stay for 3 or 4 nights, an extra charge for arriving on Thursday is £10 and includes 2 extra meals

The weekend race entry ticket is also included in our price.
